) can become more readable by starting with a "raw" value.
So while this is easily comprehendable:
list
|> Enum.take(5)
|> Enum.shuffle
|> pick_winner()
This might be harder to read:
Enum.take(list, 5)
|> Enum.shuffle
|> pick_winner()
